You can either call us, email us to assist with booking an appointment or you can book an appointment online. See steps to book online below:
Step 1: Click on the "book a virtual consult" button or client portal button (see top right of screen) to book your appointment, create an account
Step 2: Select your preferred consult through the portal and a questionnaire and a lab requisition (if indicated) would be sent out to you within 48hours.
*Note: Please do not hesitate to call us at 4318874400 if you have any question regarding when or how to book a consult and we will be happy to assist you.
Payments for services are paid out-of-pocket and due upon appointment booking and depending on your mode of payment.
Any cancellations/ rescheduling must be done no later than 24 hours before the appointment start time. Please time stamp messages left on holidays/weekends at least 24 hours before the upcoming appointment. Less than 2 hours cancellation notice may be subject to a late cancellation or missed appointment fee of $75.
No, once you provide your Manitoba Health number or card, your blood work will be covered by Manitoba Health. Any specialty tests that are not covered would be communicated to you during your appointment.
We are a private pay virtual clinic; therefore, our services including consults, treatments and assessments are paid out-of-pocket at the time of booking.
We accept payments by credit and debit cards or e-transfer at the time of booking.
No, but we will provide you with a detailed invoice that you can use to make claims with your insurance provider if applicable. You should reach out to your insurance to inquire about their coverage for Nurse Practitioner services.
No, you can either call or email us directly to book an appointment or you can use our online booking platform to see our Nurse Practitioner.
Yes, our nurse practitioner is fully equipped to provide you with a prescription as needed. Please note that you are required to make an appointment to discuss and evaluate the safety and indication for the required prescription.
Yes, if indicated for your condition. We will discuss the benefits vs risks and all other viable options during your appointment so you can make a decision guided by evidence and suited to your preferences.
Our nurse practitioner has the license to practice in Manitoba, Alberta and Ontario, so you can access our services, get your bloodwork done or pick up your prescriptions in any of the 3 provinces.
The College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba requires the Nurse Practitioner to review and discuss all lab results with the clients as part of our practice guidelines to ensure that all aspects of your health are considered and clearly explained. It will also allow us to closely monitor your condition and follow-up as needed so as not to miss pertinent diagnoses. Therefore, our clinic policy requires the Nurse Practitioner to review and discuss the results with you during your scheduled appointment.
